I got E-Mail-bombed this morning about stimulator.tv, so i watched this show, and this is my comment.

as sad as it might sound to most of us, riot is smallscale-stoneage-thinking.

yeah, i know, riot is fun, and exciting, and real action experience for 21st-century-digital-boys, but it is WAR.

and war is not useful.

don't think so? watch and learn from edwin starr.

stopping shopping stupid stuff is useful.

but producing and using useful stuff is useful, too.

and what the fuck is a video featuring church of stop shopping that tells me to buy stuff from their webshop???

so why the fuck should the revolution come from an online webshop?

the revolution will be real.

hey, wait, that was on youtube, you tricked me!

okay, okay, i did not say the revolution is gonna be sarah jones, but she's got her brain together, and that way mo' than most of those mo-fu-in' super-real-extra-killer oldschool-hiphop-FANS that mostly, at least subconsciously, enjoy the feeling of sex and violence when they listen to bad rap, but do not really dig deep down into the lyrics and never really check all their stars out for the errors in their pop-propagated thinking.

so back to the little riot-propaganda-piece by stimulator.tv. let's be honest, riot is fascinating, it just appeals to us, because we are still rock-throwing mob-monkeys deep inside. but is that what you want to be? if that is the case, you don't need to change the world, because we are already, respectively still, living in a jungle-world full of rock-et-throwing monkey-gangs.

things the video got wrong

so what is this wonderfully cut piece of propaganda-shit trying to tell me, let's view that thing from an "obey"-perspective, the video is bringing to me the following messages:

anger
revenge
fire
burn
motherfucking
riot
kill
pollution
desaster
do riot in vancouver 2010
"the motherfucking resistance will be there" ?
- sorry guy, you still live in the past, better join the future. my revolution will never be fucking mothers.
and what means "sub"-media?
- are you submissive to the attraction of riot-pictures?
- are you even sub-standard?
"peeps over in palestine"?
- there are always at least two sides of a story. we've got "peeps" over in palestine and in israel. many of those "peeps" believe in one or the other stupid religion and both sides would love to kill each other due to a history of war. israel definitely got the upper hand on this one, so the sympathy goes easily to the palestinian side. do you really want peace in the middle east? then why call for riot over here? better point out peaceful strategies to find peace. wasn't there a saying like "fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity"?
  - so what could be a solution? both sides should stop believing in bullshit and fighting for it. both sides should lay down all weapons and forgive each other, open all borders and become one country where god is something you only read about in history-books.
calling for riot is calling for war and that is always stupid.

things the video got right

- but don't judge them in advance, the campaign was necessary to get where they are now, maybe they gonna do some good? if not, start radical criticising immediately
making fun of bad politicians is cool (dick cheney)
buying land to protect it from pollution is really cool
peacefully blocking military installations is cool
the church of stop shopping is a really cool political-art-action-initiative, but it's not a solution, it's more a call for shoplifting and provoking thoughts about what is property, what belongs to whom and what is public property - that again is important and good, because we have to organise our society in a way where we share the wealth, and that means sharing the goods, money should not be necessary in a good society, but getting people off their addiction to the money-concept will need a smooth fading to a better concept...
